Eligibility Criteria for Primary Teachers
Aspirant teachers who will attend the WB Primary TET 2022 Exam need to qualify some particular point of criteria written below:
The minimum marks of Higher Secondary (or its equivalent 10+2))/senior secondary is 50%. Candidate must finish a 2-year diploma in Elementary Education, which means he or she must have D.El.Ed degree.
The second criterion for paper 2 is 50% marks in Higher Secondary (or its equivalent 10+2)/Senior Secondary and must complete four years Bachelor in Elementary Education which means applicants must have B.El.Ed degree.
The third criterion is the minimum 50% marks or higher that it in Higher Secondary or its equivalent and willing aspirant must have a Diploma degree in Special Education, recognized by the Rehabilitation Council India (RCI).
The next criterion is that the candidate must finish their graduation degree and complete the two-year course Diploma degree in Elementary Education.
Marks Relaxation
This is notified that there is 5% of marks relaxation in Higher Secondary or its equivalent examination 10+2 that is 45%, will be allowed for the candidates who are SC/ST/OBC A/ OBC-B/ PH (Physically challenged)/ ex-serviceman category.
Age relaxation
According to the rules and regulations, SC/ST candidates will get five years and three years of age relaxation.
